FADE IN:
INT. ASTRO VAN-NIGHT
A motley woman, dressed in sweat pants and a tank top is driving down an exit ramp. Her hair is disheveled and she has a blank, crazy look on her FACE. She is muttering something inaudible. She is weaving from one side of the road to the other; cars are honking and blaring their horns at her. A BASEBALL BAT and bottle of SOUTHERN COMFORT lay in the passenger’s seat, a GUN is on the floor.

JENNIFER
That little slut. I’m gonna kill’em.
That little slut. I’m gonna kill’em.
She is driving worse, and we see a car swerve completely off the road.
JENNIFER (VO)
Chance after chance after chance.
Every time I get in my happy spot.
How many times can you keep trusting someone?
I’m done. I’m not going to blame myself anymore.
I’m done with him.
Chance after chance after chance.
Every time I get in my happy spot.

I’m done. I’m not going to blame myself anymore.
I’m done with him.
Jennifer takes a swig of the whiskey in one hand and holds the wheel in the other. She eyes the BASEBALL BAT.
JENNIFER (VO)
I’ve given him three chances.
We see Jennifer drive past a POLICE CAR. He turns out and follows her a few blocks, and then turns on his police lights. Jennifer sees this in her REAR VIEW MIRROR, and begins to accelerate, dodging around corners sharply. Cars are swerving out of the way; horns are blaring. Jennifer finally pulls over to a house lit brightly with tiki lamps. The driveway and street are packed full of cars. Several scantily clad women can be seen coming from the house. Jennifer grabs her bat and runs toward the house.
I’ve given him three chances.
He kept going back to that slut.
Get it over with and marry her you bastard!
Get it over with and marry her you bastard!

JENNIFER (slurring)
Where is he? Where is that bastard?
Where is he? Where is that bastard?
The women shrug and remain silent. They begin keeping distance and walk around her. She eyes them suspiciously, but then continues to the house. She opens the door and sees her husband sitting at a table. Music is blaring. Several empty bottles of whiskey sit at a table scattered with poker chips. Pay per view porn is playing on the television and in the far corner we see a man blindfolded, getting a lap dance. All eyes are on her. DAN stands up and quickly walks over to her, remaining out of striking distance. He has his hands held up as in defense or surrender.
JENNIFER
What the fuck is going on here?
DAN
Hun, it’s Mike’s bachelor party.
I told you I’d be coming here tonight.
JENNIFER
Who are these sluts walking around?

DAN sighs and pulls out a chair. He grabs her one as well, but she remains standing. He sinks into his chair, looking back to make sure everyone in the room is calm. When he sees that they’re not worried he looks back toward Jennifer.
DAN
Hun, let’s not do this again. Not here. Not now.
JENNIFER
Let me guess, you hid Shelly before I came.
Where is that bitch!
DAN
We’ve been over this a million times.
I’m not with her anymore.
How many times do we have to go over this?
You think I cheated on you. Sure, I was with her.
But the whole time you were with your EX.
Before we got married we both decided that it was
over between them. Why do you keep bringing this up? I
never cheated on you. Are you drinking again?

Jennifer raises the bat. Dan flinches. She slowly lowers the bat and drops it. She walks toward Dan with her arms outstretched. Tears are welling up in her EYES. They embrace just as there is a knock on the door.
OFFSCREEN VOICE
